The heads of the Russian and Uzbek Security Services signed the protocol about close collaboration

The TV company «Zvezda» reports with reference to ITAR-TASS, on Thursday, October, 11 in Bukhara the fifth talks of Russian & Uzbek Security Services delegations took place. They decided to improve the interaction in struggle against international terrorism & extremism. The head of Russian delegation was Nikolai Patrushev, of Uzbek one – the head of National Security Service of Uzbekistan Rustam Inoyatov.

They discussed the matters of prospects of the interaction of Russian & Uzbek Security Services & decided to continue the interaction in struggle against international terrorism & extremism, made arrangements for increasing the defense of transport infrastructure against terrorists & diversions & for enlargement of scientific and technical collaboration.

During the meeting the protocols to the interdepartmental agreement about collaboration of 1992 in coordination of preliminary investigation agencies & training of Uzbek partners in educational institutions of Russian Federal Security Service.

“After the talks the final document was signed which says about the particular arrangements to further interaction of Russian & Uzbek Security Services”, - PR center of Russian Federal Security Service reports.
