Uzbekistan: Rise in women crime and self-killing impends Andijan

755 crimes committed by women have been recorded in the Andijan oblast for the last 11 months, the Andijan oblast office of the public prosecutor reported. 142 women committed suicides.

Besides, 392 families divorced.

The number of crimes committed by women has increased by three times as compared with the previous year, Andijan oblast Prosecutor General Bakhodir Dekhkanov informed the local media.

Among the crimes committed by women are frauds, pillages and murders.

Rise in women self-killing is prompted by bad environment at home, the experts say. An extremely squalid life conditions worsen the situation.
