Uznews.net, website of an independent Uzbekistan information service has been suffering from a massive DDoS attack for two consecutive days. As of the time of this publication, the website has still been inaccessible.

The attack was launched at around 11 pm on the 28 of February (CET). The website’s editor-in-chief Galima Bukharbaeva who currently lives in Germany says the attack originated from Asia. The hosting service provider is making efforts to eliminate the effects of this mass attack and make the website accessible, but it is not clear yet when it manages to have the site perform in a regular way.

A distributed denial of service attack (DDoS) is a DoS attack that occurs when multiple systems flood the resources of a targeted system, thus making it unavailable for legitimate users.
