The Uzbek president Nodir Otajonov as a new vice-premier holding a position as a head of Uzagrotehsanoatholding - the head of the complex for the development of foreign trade activities, export potential, engineering, automotive and electrical industries, standardisation of products. Before this appointment, Otajonov was the head of the joint-stock leasing Uzselkhozmashleasing company.

Ulugbek Rozukulov, at the same time, now leads a national Uzbekistan Havo Yullari air company. He substituted another long-liver Valery Tyan who had been leading the passenger airline since 2002. 71-year-old Tyan continues to command Boeing 757/767.

People are joking in social networks that Rozukulov would introduce a so-called "cap" on a price of air tickets - an illegal but almost legalised bribe for speeding up the registration of the purchase. In Uzbekistan, those wishing to buy a car as soon as possible had to pay this "extra" cost. The "practice" universally existed when Ulugbek Rozukulov was the head of Uzavtosanoat auto company.
